Philadelphia
Chapter
Connection, conversation, and collective growth.
The Philadelphia chapter exists to create intentional space for Black women across the wedding and events industry — to connect, be seen, and engage in conversation that goes beyond surface-level networking.

The Philadelphia chapter of Black Women in Weddings was founded to reflect the specific energy, talent, and ambition of Black women building careers in this city's wedding and events community.
Through intimate gatherings, facilitated conversations, and curated professional experiences, we foster growth within a community rooted in trust, honesty, and shared experience.
This is not a directory. It is not a leads group. It is a space where the work is taken seriously and the women doing it are seen.
This space is designed
for women who…
- Are building a business or brand across the wedding and events industry — planners, designers, photographers, florists, stylists, coordinators, and creative entrepreneurs.
- Value community over competition and seek meaningful connection, not surface-level networking.
- Want to grow personally and professionally in rooms rooted in trust and shared experience.
- Are at any stage of their career — emerging, established, or in transition.
This chapter centers Black women. Aligned collaborators and supporters who respect the intention of the space are welcome.
